Cosmetic Neuromodulators
Cosmetic neuromodulators (more commonly known as the brand name Botox) are purified proteins that are injected into the face to soften the look of lines and wrinkles. Neuromodulators can be used for frown lines, forehead lines, crow’s feet, gummy smiles and more.
I’m so excited to now be offering cosmetic neuromodulator injections at all of my clinic locations. Read on for some common questions & answers about the procedure:
What does the treatment look like?
Neuromodulator visits are quite quick. We will review the procedure together, then assess your areas of concern and decide on a treatment plan. A few injections later, you are good to go.
How long do the effects last?
The effects of the treatment last anywhere from 3-4 months, depending on the patient. The treatment does take around 2 weeks to come into maximum effect, so please keep that in mind when booking your appointment.
Does it hurt?
It can hurt a little bit, yes. However, the needles used are very small, and I apply ice packs before the procedure to numb the area and minimize any pain felt.
How much does it cost?
Neuromodulators are priced at $10/unit, with no injection fee. The amount of units administered will depend on your desired outcome as well as the strength of your muscles. We will discuss the amount of units needed and total cost prior to any injection.
